Athens Fire and Rescue Chief Tony Kirk said there has been a diesel fuel spill in Limestone County on Bethel Road. Volunteer firefighters have closed Bethel Road between Miller Road and Alabama 251. This is not in the city, but Athens Fire and Rescue is the Hazmat response for the entire county.
