Spencer Black 5K postponed

— The Fourth Spencer Black 5K and 1-mile fun run scheduled for Saturday, May 10, has been postponed due to the April 28 twisters that heavily impacted the Coxey community.

The race is held at Blue Springs Elementary School, benefiting the track and physical education programs for BSES and Clements High School.

A makeup date will be announced pending the progress of the ongoing tornado recovery, according to race organizer Gary Van Wagnen.

For more information, contact Van Wagnen at garyvanwagnen@aol.com.
