— ANDERSON – Limestone County deputies received a tip that an Anderson resident was possibly manufacturing crystal meth, according to Sheriff’s Investigator Stanley McNatt.

“Deputies went to the Abby Lane residence Wednesday and one of the deputies detected an odor and called a drug agent, Josh McLaughlin, to the scene,” said McNatt. “While he was there, Daniel Ray Moore pulled up and when McLaughlin approached his vehicle, he saw drugs in plain sight.

“He asked Moore if he had anything more and he said he had a meth lab in his trunk, what they call a ‘shake and bake’ operation.”

Moore, 37, of 27880 Abby Lane, Anderson, is charged with manufacturing a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is being held in Limestone County Jail in lieu of a $56,000 bond.
