From staff reports
The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for Limestone County as strong-to-severe storms are possible late this morning and into the afternoon.
An upper-air disturbance tracking southeast will bring scattered storms to the area, some of which may be severe. The primary threat from these storms is damaging winds, large hail and frequent lightning strikes.
The chance of storms will decrease in the late afternoon and evening hours.
The chance of scattered storms will remain elevated through Monday as a cold front settles into to the region. The best chance for strong storms is Friday night as another upper-level disturbance moves through the region.
