Special Needs Rodeo rescheduled for June 23

The annual Special Needs Rodeo, which was canceled Friday because of thunderstorms, has been rescheduled for June 23.

The free event will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Sheriff’s Rodeo Arena on Alabama 99.

“The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office and all the volunteers associated with this event wish to extend an invitation to all our special needs clients who had originally planned to attend this past Friday,” said a statement from the sheriff’s office.

Volunteers who wish to participate should contact Dawn Blakely at 256-233-8711. For more information about the event, contact the sheriff’s office at 232-0111.
