BREAKING: Man trapped in vehicle identified

— A man trapped in his vehicle off Love Branch Rd. has been identified as Limestone County resident Michael Worthey, according to state troopers.

Worthey was taken by MedFlight to Huntsville Hospital around 12:25 p.m.

The 54-year-old man was found about 11:05 a.m. today. Authorities had to use Jaws of Life and other extracation equipment to remove Worthey from the vehicle. He was desribted as "coherent"  and reportedly told authorities he has been trapped there since Sunday. See Wednesday's print edition of The News Courier for the complete story.
