Governor to announce new jobs for Decatur area



DECATUR, Ala. (AP) — Alabama Gov. Robert Bentley will join other state and local leaders in Decatur to make an economic development announcement of a project that will bring new jobs to the north Alabama city.

The governor will give details of the business expansion project during a news conference at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Decatur Country Club.

Bentley's staff said in a news release that the expansion would provide jobs for people in Decatur and the surrounding area.
