Athens man charged with 2nd-degree sex abuse

ATHENS — An Athens man was arrested Friday, charged with second-degree sexual abuse of a 12-year-old girl, according to Athens Police Chief Floyd Johnson.

Brandon Chase Duffy, 20, of 409 Cloverleaf Drive, is accused of having sexual contact with a female. The incident allegedly occurred on March 6, 2013, at 1115 Audubon Drive, Johnson said.

Duffy was booked at the Athens Police Department and released on a $1,000 bond.
