BREAKING: Athens man listed ‘good’ following rollover wreck

ATHENS — An Athens man who was ejected from his truck in a single-vehicle wreck early Friday is listed in good condition in the surgical intensive care unit at Huntsville Hospital, a hospital spokeswoman said.

Thomas Carr, 31, was driving a 1996 Chevrolet truck on Reid Road, about three miles west of Athens, around 12:20 a.m. when he struck a concrete driveway, overturned and was thrown from the vehicle, according to state troopers.

He was not wearing a seat belt, troopers said.
