BREAKING: Shooting suspect chased by sheriff’s deputies

— An armed man driving a white Chevrolet truck is being pursued by sheriff’s deputies in Limestone County, just outside Elkmont, according to scanner reports this afternoon.

Reports beginning shortly after 3:50 p.m. indicate the male suspect has a gunshot wound. The truck is described as “an older model Chevy.”

Among a flurry of reports regarding an initial call about “multiple gunshots,” a woman has been reported as “bleeding heavily from the hand” and a man that is “barely breathing.”

At 4:15 p.m., a male victim was reported with a “gunshot wound to the head” at 26708 New Bethel Road.

Another reported scene is on Fort Hampton Road.
