— County arrests

Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests Thursday:

• Kody Clint Elbert Burney, 20, of 21720 Piney Chapel Road, Lot 30, Athens, second-degree theft

• Billy Joe Carruth Jr., 40, of 14888 Lucas Ferry Road, Athens, bond revocation on an original charge of second-degree possession of a forged instrument

• Larry Brandon Jackson, 33, of 24647 Mooresville Road, Athens, second-degree forgery

• Travis Kent McGahee, 52, of 23922 Powell Road, Madison, possession of a firearm by a felon and alteration of a firearm

• Derrick Lee Owens, 44, of 16956 Jones Road, Athens, second-degree theft

• Dwight Posey II, 49, of 22567 Alabama 99, Elkmont, nonpayment of child support

County thefts

Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following incidents and thefts Thursday:

• MADISON – Seven 41-inch Pro Scan flat screen TVs valued at $3,500, and $50 in change stolen in a burglary in the 27000 block of Old Highway 20, Madison, stolen Tuesday or Wednesday

• ELKMONT – Check valued at $529.75 stolen from the 23000 block of Gray Ridge Road, Elkmont, on Nov. 30

• TANNER – A 50-inch flat screen LG TV valued at $300 and an Apple iPad valued at $200 stolen in a burglary in the 19000 block of Nuclear Plant Road Tuesday or Wednesday

City arrests

Athens Police Department reported the following arrest Thursday:

• Lisa Marie McMaan, 25, of 10350 U.S. 72 W., Lot 5, Athens, first-degree possession of a forged instrument

• Barbara Gail Rivera, 49, of 10350 U.S. 72 W., Lot 5, Athens, first-degree possession of a forged instrument

• Reginald Allen Pryor, 41, of 10765 Griffin Road, Tanner, third-degree criminal trespassing

• Jason William Andrews, 38, of 27728 Saddle Trail, Toney, sentenced from court to 59 days or $873

• James Allen Thompson, 34, of 602 Wright St., Athens, sentenced from court to 75 days

• Ashley Nicole Meredith, 28, of 1614 Elkton Road, Athens, arrested for Madison Police Department

City thefts

Athens Police Department reported the following theft Thursday:

• Twenty-inch Eager Beaver  yellow-and -black chainsaw valued at $100 stolen from the 100 block of West Hobbs Street on Wednesday

• Sony or Emerson MP4 player valued at $16 and one 750-minute phone card valued at $20 stolen from the 500 block of Browns Ferry Street on Dec. 1

• Alabama T-shirt valued at $20 and a Hello Kitty stuffed animal valued at $15 stolen from the 100 block of U.S. 31, Suite A on Wednesday

• Currency valued at $40 stolen from the 200 block of Plum Street on Wednesday

• Copper wire, no value given, stolen from the 1700 block of Wilkinson Street on Nov. 30

• Currency valued at $545, Sony Playstation controllers valued at $140, Sony Playstation 3 valued at $350, Blue Tooth valued at $50, and a 50-inch plasma LG TV valued at $1,000 stolen in a burglary from the 200 block of Southwind Drive on Wednesday

• HP laptop computer valued at $4,600 stolen during the unlawful breaking and entering of vehicle from the 1600 block of Squire Run on Wednesday

• Tool box valued t $20, UNK brand hunting knife valued at $20, Smith & Wesson knife valued at $80, and a toy dog valued at $25 stolen from the 22000 block of E. Yorkshire Drive during the unlawful breaking and entering of a vehicle on Wednesday

• Acer laptop computer valued at $30 stolen from the 600 block of Swan Drive on Wednesday
