Holiday Inn Express, Steelcase collecting coats for needy

The Holiday Inn Express in Athens and Steelcase have teamed with the Limestone County Department of Human Resources for a “Coats for Kids” drive to support local families in need.

The groups are asking residents to drop off new coats and jackets at the Holiday Inn Express, located at 16074 Athens-Limestone Boulevard. Those who donate can register t win a free night’s stay at the hotel.

More than 100 coats were collected in a similar drive last year.

Coats will be accepted through Monday, Dec. 10, and will be delivered to Limestone county DHR on Tuesday.
