If you are a youngster living in Limestone County, get out your crayons, pencils or paints.
The Alabama Wildlife Federations and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service would like you to enter the annual youth wildlife art contest or the annual federal junior duck stamp contest, or both.
Both contests are open to all public, private and home-schooled students in kindergarten through 12th grade. The top winners in each category will be awarded plaques and art supplies at a luncheon Saturday, April 20, at AWF’s headquarters in Millbrook.
The deadline for both contests is March 15.
