Above, the winning design for the April 26 Athens on the Square Car, Truck and Bike Show was submitted by Athens High School sophomore Robby Thompson. Below, Thompson accepts his $50 prize from Limestone County Parks and Recreation Board member Richard Martin. The contest was open to all Athens High School students during January. Organizers selected Robby’s design to be used in promotional materials for the show set for April 26 in downtown Athens. Profits from the show benefit the Parks and Recreation Board. Robby is the son of Bret and Holly Thompson.
