Meet the Neighbors: Boss feeds hundreds with 150 gallons of stew

— Members of Boss Hill’s family were in attendance at his annual goat and chicken stew Wednesday at his home on Beulah Road near Elkmont. Hill and his his helpers cooked up 150 gallons of goat, chicken and beef stew for the hundreds of residents, politicians and friends who came by to have lunch. There were also plenty of homemade pies and drinks. All had a good time.

Limestone County Deputy Donnie Johns and his son, Coty, above, were there to eat stew and greet the neighbors.

The Limestone County Golden Age Band provided music while those in attendance ate stew.
