MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) — The Montgomery Police Department has arrested two teenagers in connection with an Aug. 30 double homicide.
The Advertiser reports (http://bit.ly/qdRW2h) that detectives on Wednesday night charged 18-year-old Chandler Boone with attempted murder and 18-year-old Josephus Boone with hindering prosecution.
The victims, 20-year-old Jaderico Langford and 18-year-old Deswana Gregory, were found shot near apartments on Gibbs Drive. Langford was pronounced dead that night and Gregory was pronounced dead the following day. Two other people were wounded.
Police say they’re awaiting the results of forensic tests and anticipate further charges.
