Selena Ann Cramer
The funeral for Selena Ann Scali Cramer, 89, of Harvest, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Alookaran officiating. Burial will be in Holy Sepulcher Cemetery in Buffalo, N.Y.
Visitation will be today from 4 to 6 p.m. at Limestone Chapel.
Mrs. Cramer died Friday, Sept. 28, 2007 at her residence. She attended the University of Toledo and Ohio State University. She was an artist. She sang in the opera in Buffalo, N.Y. She was a school teacher and enjoyed travel. Mrs. Cramer attended St. Paul Catholic Church in Athens. She was an Army veteran of World War II and was one of the original women in Women’s Army Corps.
She is survived by one son, Myron Cramer (Gloria), Annapolis, Md.; three daughters, Marily Cramer, Cleveland, Ohio, Callie Lipka (Tom), Harvest, Carrie Chaplin, San Antonio, Texas; grandsons, Joseph Bobula (Rebecca) and Michael Cramer; granddaughters, Selena Bobula and Tricia Cramer; brother, Anthony Scali (Rose); two sisters, Virginia Smith and Louise Scali (John Dolce).
She was preceded in death by her husband Morris Cramer; granddaughter, Christina Lipka; mother, Rose Scali Roselli; father, Dominic Scali; brothers, James Sutton, Joseph Scali and Donald Scali; brother-in-law, Leo Smith.
Willard Odean George
The funeral for Willard Odean George, 77, of Athens, will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Spry Funeral Home with Danny Gulley officiating. Burial will be in Oakgrove Cemetery.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. George died Friday, Sept. 28, 2007 at his residence.
He was born Sept. 5, 1930 in Limestone County. Mr. George was retired from Arvin Corporation of Pulaski, Tenn.
Survivors include his wife, Elvie George, Athens; two sons, Danny George and wife Becky, of Pulaski, Tenn., Bobby George, Athens; sister, Mamie McGlocklin, Athens; granddaughters, Sabina Hall and husband Andy, of Pulaski, Tenn., Amanda George and fiancé Timmy Johnson, Pulaski, Tenn.; adopted grandchildren, Andrea Patterson, Robert Patterson, John Patterson, David Patterson; parents of adopted grandchildren, Linda and Tommy Patterson; great grandchildren, Landon Hill and Emma Hill; several nieces and nephews.
