Edwina D. Cooper

The funeral for Edwina D. Cooper, 70, will be announced by Limestone Chapel Funeral Home.

Mrs. Cooper died Saturday, June 23, 2007, in Huntsville Hospital.



Teddy Wayne Graves

The funeral for Teddy Wayne Graves, 51, of Athens, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Leslie Bagsby officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.

Mr. Graves died Saturday, June 23, 2007 at Athens-Limestone Hospital. Visitation will be today from 6-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

He was a member of Leggtown Church of Christ and was owner and operator of Graves Plumbing Electrical and Gas Company.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Bessie Graves and a sister, Kay Graves.

He is survived by his wife, Anna Graves, Athens; three daughters, Beverly Marlow and husband James, Athens, Tabetha Dugger and husband Andy, Athens, Heather Brooks, Athens; two grandchildren, Jordan Brooks and Matthew Pylant; two brothers, Doyle Graves, Athens, and Tommy Graves, Elkmont; 10 sisters, Geraldine Gatlin, Elkmont, Louisann Lawrence, Athens, Judy Lawrence, Minor Hill, Tenn., Carolyn Miller, Elkmont, Joyce Smith, Lester, Patricia Gatlin, Minor Hill, Tenn., Diane Patterson, Athens, Pam Hilliard, Athens, Dalphney Moss, Athens, Kathy Coberly, Athens; several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be James Marlow, Michael Pylant, Andy Miller, Anthony Wise, William Thornton, Rodney Williams, Tony Hastings and Kenny Green.



George William Hoffmann Sr.

The funeral for George William Hoffmann Sr., 84, of Tanner, will be at 2 p.m. Monday, July 2, at Friendship United Methodist Church in Athens with Rev. Calvin Havens officiating. Burial will be Chapel Hill Cemetery in Cook County, Ill.

Mr. Hoffmann died Thursday, June 21, 2007 at his residence.

Visitation will be at the church Monday from 1-2 p.m. before the service.

Mr. Hoffman n was a native of Fort Madison, Iowa and was a veteran of World War II. He was a retired pipe fitter from General Motors and was past commander of the Athens VFW Post and the Athens American Legion Post.

The family request that memorials be made to Hospice of the Valley or to Friendship United Methodist Church in his memory.

He was preceded in death by a grandson, Tony Sheridan.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Hoffmann, of Tanner; five sons, James Andrew Sheridan, Valley Springs, Calif., Tom Sheridan, Channahon, Ill., Karl Hoffmann, Las Vegas, Nev., George Hoffmann Jr., Tanner, David Hoffmann, Elgin, S.C.; 10 grandchildren, Kathy Webb, David Sheridan, Tom Sheridan II, Karl Hoffmann Jr., Kurt Hoffmann, George Hoffmann III, Nick Hoffmann, Tim Hoffmann, Michael Hoffmann, Katrina Hoffmann; six great grandchildren, Christina Hoffmann, Zachary Hoffmann, Jessica Sheridan, Alexander Hoffmann, Blake Hoffmann, Grace Hoffmann; one sister, Jane Holoffe, Decatur, Ill.; one brother, Howard Becker, Tinley Park, Ill.



Lidia Ivette Gonzalez

Graveside services for infant Lidia Ivette Gonzalez, of Athens, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Limestone Memorial Gardens with Pat Lawrence officiating, Limestone Chapel Funeral Home directing.

She died Thursday, June 21, 2007 at Athens-Limestone Hospital.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 10:45a.m. at the funeral home.



Margaret Roath Southard

The funeral for Margaret Roath Southard, 84, of Rogersville, will be announced by Rogersville Funeral Home.

Mrs. Southard died Saturday, June 23, 2007 at her residence.
