Tressa Dale Fairbanks

Tressa Dale Fairbanks, 69, of Athens, died Friday, July 20, 2007, at her residence. No funeral service is planned.

Visitation will be today from 5-8 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home.

She died Friday, July 20, 2007 at her residence.

She was born April 16, 1938 in Jasper. Mrs. Fairbanks was retired from TVA.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice or the American Cancer Society.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Edsel and Douglas Kimbrell.

She is survived by her husband, Bob Fairbanks, of Athens; son, Mark Brent Fairbanks, of Athens; three brothers, Pete Kimbrell, Jasper, Johnny Kimbrell, of Mulga, and Zeke Kimbrell, of Delra Beach, Fla.; five sisters, Bonnie Gaddy, Jasper, Billie Griffin, Hobe Sound, Fla., Terry Pleasant, Boco Raton, Fla., Peggy Scruggs, Jasper, Rachel Stiles, Scottsboro; grandchildren, Dani Fairbanks and Justus Fairbanks, both of Chattanooga, Tenn., several nieces and nephews.



Caroline Mae Winter

The funeral for Caroline Mae Winter, 87, of Huntsville, will be at 6 p.m. Monday at Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home in Ardmore with Scott Peterson officiating. Burial will be Pinelawn Memorial Park in Farmingdale, N.Y.

She died Saturday, July 21, 2007 at Crestwood Medical Center in Huntsville.

Visitation will be Monday from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. following the service at the funeral home.
