Orean Anderson

— Orean Aness Anderson, 93, of Athens passed away Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012, at home.

Mrs. Anderson was born Sept. 12, 1919, in Cullman to Starling H. Earwood and Fannie E. Benefield Earwood.

The funeral for Mrs. Anderson will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery with Bud White officiating.

Visitation is from 12:45-1:45 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. 

Mrs. Anderson was a member of Northside Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Karl K. Anderson; parents, Starling and Fannie Earwood; brothers, Amos Earwood and Lelton Earwood; and sister, Armon Earwood Whisenant.

Survivors include her daughters, Kay Colvett and husband Bobby, and Patty Anderson; sons, Tony Anderson and wife Betty, and Gary Anderson and wife Kate; grandchildren, Kathy Norman and husband Max, Brent Colvett, Stephen Anderson, Colleen Tucker and husband Will, Adam Anderson and Grace Anderson; great-grandchild, Emma Norman; and sister, Dene Vest.

Pallbearers are Adam Anderson, Max Norman, Will Tucker, Larry Earwood, Ronald Whisenant and Tommy Coblentz.
