Reba Wallace

The funeral for Reba Easter Wallace, 93, of Decatur will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 13, at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel with Charles Forman officiating and Roselawn Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.

Visitation is from 6-8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 12, at the funeral home.

Ms. Wallace passed away Thursday, Oct.10, 2013, at home. She was born Dec. 1, 1919, in Ripley, to Gordon and Della Legg Easter.

Ms. Wallace was preceded in death by her parents; and her sisters, Louise Easter Cox, Hester Easter Mitchell and Maxine Easter Leonard.

Survivors include her daughter, Joan Wallace Guice and husband Roland of Decatur; grandchildren, Jennifer L. Bjornseth and Timothy “Tim” E. Bjornseth and wife Shannon, all of Decatur; great-grandchild, Kendall Layne Bjornseth; and loving caregivers, Linda Forman, Lois Way, Melissa Hughes, Carol Bess and Andrea Samano.

Pallbearers will be Tim Bjornseth, Stephen Wright, Mark Beach, David Linn, Donald Kiel and Ray Martin.

Donations can be made to: Decatur Animal Services, 300A Beltline Road, Decatur, AL 35601, and also to The Ark (animal shelter) 139 Bo Cole Road NW, Huntsville, AL 35806.
