A memorial service for Jill Adam, 47, of Athens, who died Aug. 30, 2013, after a 16-year battle with Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, at St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church, 207 E. Washington St. in Athens.

It was Jill’s wish that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to MD Anderson Cancer Center’s Patient Assistance Program (713-792-9844), the University of Alabama’s School of Social Work (205-348-9879), or Mercy Medical Airlift (757-271-2299).

Survivors include her parents, Dick and Connie Adam; sisters, Libby Adam Brackeen and Debbie Adam Craig; nephews, Tyler Craig, Will Craig and Josh Brackeen; and niece, Emily Brackeen.
