Sherall Belue

The funeral for Sherall Ottis Belue, 65, of Athens, was at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 22, at Spry Funeral Home with Buck Howard, J.C. Hand and James Turner officiating. Burial was in Higgins Cemetery.

Mr. Belue died Saturday, Oct. 19, 2013, at Kindred Care & Rehab in Huntsville.

Sherall Belue was born July 11, 1948, in Lauderdale County to William Ottis Belue and Lena Patterson Belue. He was a member of Temperance Oak Baptist Church. He retired from Reynolds Metal Co.

Survivors include his wife, Jeanette Belue of Athens; two sons, Tim S. Belue and wife Monica of Athens, and Russell Belue and wife Stacey of Moyock, N.C.; four brothers, William Aaron Belue and wife Sue of Athens, Gary Belue of Madison, Dearl Belue and wife Linda of Rogersville, and Lannie Belue and wife Diann of Athens; three sisters, Carolyn Thornton and husband Bayless of Rogersville, and Regina Weist and Donna Dunn, both of Athens; five grandchildren, Hannah Belue Trostel, Rebeckah Belue, Mariah Beth Belue, Noah Belue and Rachel Belue.

Pallbearers were Clarence “Auggie” Augustine, Greg Belue, Darrin Belue, Tim Howard, Stanley Evans and Chris Trostel. Honorary pallbearers were Sam Vines, Malcolm Volentine, Carl Johnson and Harvey Reynolds.
