Frank VanHoozer

— Frank “Dago” Leonard VanHoozer, 79, of Athens, died Friday, June 6, 2014, at Huntsville Hospital.

Vistitation is from 6-9 p.m. Sunday, June 8 at Spry Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with Dwight Ridinger officiating. Burial will follow at Bottom Cemetery.

Mr. VanHoozer was a member of Oakdale Baptist Church and a retired carpenter.

Survivors include his wife, Bea VanHoozer of Athens; sons, Ricky VanHoozer of Athens and Jeff VanHoozer of Athens; brother, Wayne VanHoozer of Oklahoma; sister, Clara Wallace of Lester; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Justin VanHoozer, Tyler VanHoozer, Lloyd Wallace, Tonnice Wallace, Ronnie VanHoozer and Jerry VanHoozer.
