The funeral for Lina Lorene Kimbrough, 82, of Athens will be at 2 p.m. today at Spry Funeral Home with Ken Grant officiating. Burial will be in Bottom Cemetery.
Visitation was from 6-9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Kimbrough died Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012, at Hillside Hospital in Pulaski, Tenn.
Lina Kimbrough was born Nov. 19, 1929, in Limestone County. She retired from Ardmore Cheese Plant. She was well known at McKinney’s Corner Restaurant as “Granny.” Mrs. Kimbrough was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her son, Lawrence Kimbrough; and a daughter, Annette Kimbrough.
Survivors include daughters, Ruth McKinney and husband Richard of Ardmore, Tenn., and Dianne Grant and husband Don of Prospect, Tenn.; grandchildren, Deaunn Ratley and husband Joel of Ardmore, Melissa Hayes and husband Bobby of Minor Hill, Tenn., Richie McKinney and wife Marie of Athens, Ken Grant and wife Amber of Pinedale, Wyo., and Josh Grant and wife Retika of Lawrenceburg, Tenn.; 10 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are Richie McKinney, Josh Grant, Corey Hayes, Derrick Broadway, Tim McKinney and Barry “Pee Wee” Miller.
