Hollice Smith

Hollice E. Smith, 73, of Scottsboro passed away Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2014, at Cumberland Rehab in Bridgeport.

The funeral is at 2:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 24, at the Scottsboro Funeral Home Chapel with Mike Carver and Paul Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 23, at the funeral home.

Survivors include his sons, Mitch Smith and wife Kathy of Scottsboro, and Jonathan Smith and wife Julie and Jackson of Cullman; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brothers, Tommie Smith and wife Shirley, Jerry Smith and wife Joyce and Dwaine White and wife Frances, all of Athens, and George Richard Smith and wife Florie of Huntsville; sisters, Lorie White, and Mary Downs and husband Doc, all of Athens; sisters-in-law, Sandy Smith and Annelle White; brother-in-law, Ricky Lott; several nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Tommie and Pearl Smith; stepmother, Elizabeth Smith; brothers, Alvin Smith and David White; and sister, Barbra Lott.
