Edward Key

— The graveside service for Edward Key, 91, of Athens will be at 4 p.m. Friday at Athens Memory Gardens. There is no visitation.

Mr. Key died Tuesday, March 26, 2013, at home.

Edward Key was born June 23, 1921, in Kentucky. He retired as an electrician from Martin Stove. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Mr. Key attended First Presbyterian Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mayme Key.

Survivors include a son, Marion Key of Athens; and sister, Janet Ruth of Athens.

Pallbearers are Jim May, Marion Key and Janet Ruth.
