The funeral for Billy Gene Pepper, 78, of Cullman will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home with Tim Lipsey officiating. Burial will be in Etha Cemetery in Cullman.
Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Mr. Pepper died Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2012, at the home of his son. He was born March 26, 1934, in Limestone County, son of Audra A. Pepper and Nannie Mae Smith Pepper Mr. Pepper was the rehabilitation director at The Lighthouse in Cullman. He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Dawn Trimble.
Survivors include his wife, Nelda Carter Pepper of Cullman; two sons, Danny Pepper and Ricky Pepper, both of Athens; two daughters, Linda Howard of Athens and Donna Freeman of Warrior; two sisters, Dean Cagle of Athens and Doris Edgar of Ozark; grandchildren, Trent Pepper, Travis Pepper, Tidus Pepper, Taylor Pepper, Joshua Freeman, Jacob Freeman, Christy White and Kennedy Trimble; five great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
