Elizabeth Clement

— Elizabeth Clement, 67, of Athens passed away Monday, July 22, 2013, at home.

Mrs. Clement was born Jan. 22, 1946, in Colbert County to John Thomas Shearon and Florrie Candler Shearon. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Tanner, enjoyed traveling and mission work

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, July 25, at First Baptist Church in Tanner with Keith Turberville and Clark Theriot officiating. Burial will be in Bethsaida Cemetery in Franklin County.

Visitation is from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Thursday at the church.

Limestone Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Clement was preceded in death by her husband, Ausie Clement Jr.; and parents, John and Florrie Shearon.

Survivors include three sons, Ausie Lee Clement and wife Myra of Tuscumbia, John M. Clement and wife Christy of Wetumpka, and Lawrence Wesley Clement and wife Anne of Lynnwood, Wash.; sister, Mary Catherine Shearon of Wetumpka; and five grandchildren.
