The funeral for Betty Jean Phillips, 71, of Athens, will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Grace Full Gospel Church with Clyde Carter officiating and Spry Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 tonight at the church.
Mrs. Phillips died Monday, Sept. 3, 2012, at Athens-Limestone Hospital.
She was born Jan. 5, 1941, in Limestone County and was a member of Grace Full Gospel Church.
Survivors include three sons, Charles Allen Turner of Huntsville, Michael E. Reeves of Florida and Timothy Wayne Barton of Phoenix City, Ariz.; a daughter, Freida Sharp of Huntsville; two brothers, Kenneth Ray Reeves of Athens and George Wilbourn Reeves of Florida; two sisters, Martie Louise Schaub of Elkmont and Frances Juanita Smith of Athens; eight grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Gregory Anderson, Ricky Smith, Ronnie Smith, Joey Trousdale, Casey Smith and Daniel Smith.
