Royce “Buddy” Rogers

— Royce “Buddy” Rogers, 82, of Elkmont died Friday, June 20, 2014, in Madison. He was born March 5, 1932, in Limestone County to Murphy and Mary Lee Rogers. He was a member of the Elkwood Baptist Church and retired from the Limestone County Commission.

Services are 2 p.m. Sunday, June 22, at Spry Funeral Home with Anthony Anderson officiating. Visitation is noon until service time. Interment will follow in the Antioch Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Frances Rogers of Elkmont; daughter, Sandra Wright and husband Larry of Elkmont; granddaughter, Rebecca Pedigo and husband Corey of Huntsville; brother, Jerry Rogers of Elkmont; sister, Ruby Hicks of Athens; and several nieces and nephews.
