Anthony Szozda

— Anthony J. “Ski Daddy” Szozda, 65, of Athens, passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2013.

Mr. Szozda was born Dec. 26, 1947, in New York.

A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 3, 2013, at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home.

Mr. Szozda was a retired master sergeant in the United States Army.

He is survived by one son, Jason Waggoner and wife Crystal; two daughters, Julie Brown and husband Oscar, and Terri McCracken and husband Jim; grandchildren, Blake Bivens, Heather Ball, Dustin Coffield, Jessica Coffield, Elam and Sadie Waggoner; great-grandchildren, Caden Brown and Courtney Reeves; special friends, A.W. “Pete” Pickett and wife Joy, and James Watson; and numerous other family and friends.
