Larry Don Kirby

— The funeral for Larry Don Kirby, 63, of Anderson will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Clements Baptist Church with Tim Anderson and Bill Barlow officiating. Burial will be in Evans Cemetery with Spry Funeral Home directing.

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 tonight at the funeral home.

Mr. Kirby died Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.

He was born March 18, 1949, in Lauderdale County to the late Bert and Ruth Kirby. He was a member of Clements Baptist Church, a Vietnam era Army veteran and was retired from Arvin in Pulaski, Tenn.

Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, Keith Kirby, and a brother, James Allen Kirby.

Survivors include his wife, Judy Kirby of Anderson; a son, Kevin Kirby and wife Shelia of Anderson; a daughter, Kim Comer and husband Jonah of Anderson; seven grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; special aunt, Pauline Tarpley, and special cousin, Brenda Tarpley.

Pallbearers will be Roger Bailey, Owen Bedingfield, Eric Thigpen, David Woodis, Jeremy Bailey and Junior Kirby.
