Nita McLemore

— The funeral for Nita Rae McLemore, 78, of Rogersville will be Sunday, June 9, immediately following visitation from 1-3 p.m. at Rogersville Funeral Home.

The service will be officiated by David Paden and Randy Baker. The burial will be in Civitan Cemetery.

Mrs. McLemore died Thursday, June 6, 2013, at Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital in Florence. She was a member of Cedar Grove Church of Christ and a volunteer at the Rogersville Senior Center.

Pallbearers will be Steve McLemore, Richard McLemore, David McLemore, Sammy McLemore, Paul Birdwell and Ken Bringle.

Mrs. McLemore was preceded in death by her father, James Edward Romine; mother, Pearl Gautney Romine; sisters, Marie McLemore and Agnes Spry; and brothers, Malcolm Romine, Douglas Romine and Darrence Romine.

Survivors include her husband, Oneal McLemore; sons, Steve McLemore of Town Creek, Richard McLemore of Rogersville, David McLemore of Rogersville and Sammy McLemore of Athens; daughters, Pam Birdwell of Muscle Shoals and Lorie Liles of Covington, Tenn.; sister, Ella June Craig of Athens; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
