John Dabbs

— John Alfred Dabbs, 77, of Athens died Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013, at home.  He was a member of Oliver Church of Christ.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Rogersville Funeral Home with David O’Connell officiating. Burial will follow in Civitan Cemetery.

Visitation is from 5-7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 21, at the funeral home.

Mr. Dabbs is survived by his wife, Shirley Dabbs; sons, Randy Dabbs and wife Trudy, James Dabbs, Phillip Dabbs and wife Loren, and Troy Crow and wife Jackie; daughters, Debbie House and husband Tim, and Alesia Clark; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
