Donald Richard Erbach

— Don R. Erbach, 84, of Huntsville passed away Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2013. Mr. Erbach was preceded in death by his parents, Pete and Laurene Erbach.

Don Erbach was born April 19, 1928. He retired from civil service with the U.S. Army MICOM as an electrical engineer and was a devout Catholic. Mr. Erbach was a member of the Knights of Columbus, and attained the rank of Sea Scout in the Boy Scouts in his youth. He enjoyed reading, ballroom dancing and studying mathematics.

Survivors include wife, Ernfride Erbach of Huntsville; sons, Peter Erbach and wife Michelle of Huntsville, and John Erbach; daughter, Christine Gates and husband Bob of Estill Springs, Tenn.; brother, Thomas Clement Erbach and wife Carol of Naples, Fla.; sister, Phyllis Barbara Kosi of Crystal Lake, Ill.; grandchildren, Tony Tabor, Alex Tabor, Theresa Erbach, Lizzy Erbach, and Micah Erbach; great-grandchildren, Dexter Tabor and Bradyn Kopecky.

Visitation will be from 2-3 p.m. Monday at Holy Spirit Catholic Church.  The memorial Mass will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Holy Spirit Catholic Church with the Rev. Michael Mac Mahon officiating. Laughlin Service Funeral Home is assisting the family.
