She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee; sisters, Arvella Holden, Lillie Mae Davis, Mary Moore; and brothers, Preston, Morris, GW, Dillie and Dillard Butler.  She was also preceded in death by her great-granddaughter, Ensley Hand.

Survivors include three daughters, Regina Malone and Fran Malone, both of Huntsville, and Lisa Roberts and husband Michael of Athens. She is also survived by her son, Lee Malone III and his wife Tammi of Athens.

She was loved by her six grandchildren, Leslye Worboys, Teresa Hurley, Kim Henry, Sean McMeans, Merritt Malone and Shae Malone; and four great-grandchildren, Katelyn Hurley, Dylan Hurley, Parker Henry and Mason Henry.

The family would like to say a special thanks to Joyce Downey for her care and support.
