She was an avid reader, tree-, dairy-, and hay-farmer, librarian, business owner, and a member of The Order of the Eastern Star. Margaret also held the prestigious title of Special Platinum VIP at West End Outdoors.

Survivors include her husband, Marvin Wayne Miller Sr.; children, Marvin Wayne Miller Jr. and wife Trudy, David Eugene Miller and wife Linda, Lisa Miller Marshall and husband Scott, Laura Miller Then ... grandchildren, Marvin Wayne (Cain) Miller III, Molly Caitlin Miller, Mitchell Allen Montgomery Miller, Steven Montgomery Miller, Jeanine Marie Montgomery Miller, Preston Scott Marshall, Steven Patrick Marshall, Paul Leonhard Then II, Caroline Elizabeth Then; and sister, Martha Jane Hurst Ragon.

She is also survived by many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members and lifelong friends. She was preceded in death by parents, and siblings Sidney Jean (Sene) Hurst, Eugene Hunter (Aychte) Hurst III, and William Joseph (Bones) Hurst.

Visitation will be held from 2-3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, at Emmanuel Baptist Church, and a memorial celebration will follow.
