— Shelia Anne Dunnivant Douglas, 68, of Huntsville passed away Sunday at home.

Shelia was born in Knox City, Texas, but grew up in Athens. She graduated from Athens Bible School in 1963.

Shelia was retired from Ashburn & Grey/APAC and worked part time with Reed Contracting. She was a member of North Parkway Church of Christ in Arab where her husband, Mike Douglas, is the minister.

Shelia had an adventurous spirit. She loved racing and she was a very competitive driver in the Hobby-Limited Class from 1974-1976. She enjoyed time on her Harley as well as traveling, but her greatest love was spending time with her friends and family.

Survivors include her husband, Mike Douglas; sisters, Tena Wells, Robye Andrews and Rhonda Frost; nephews, Kris Davis, Mike Wells, Tim Wells and John Andrews; nieces, Bree McConnell, Lindsey Frost, Darby Bacci and Margaret Andrews; and her great nieces and nephews, Alexis, Kaden and Kooper Davis, Sydney Downs and Stella Wells.

The family will receive friends from 3-4 p.m. Wednesday at Berryhill Funeral Home followed by a 4 p.m. Memorial Chapel service.

Burial will be at a later date in Pecan Grove Cemetery in McKinney, Texas.
