Esther McKee

— Esther Evelyn McKee, 97, of Athens died Wednesday, April 16, 2014, at Limestone Health Facility. Services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Spry Funeral Home with Mike Green and Terry Lamar officiating. Burial will be at 3 p.m. in Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens in Florence.

Visitation is 11 a.m. until the service Monday at Spry.

Mrs. McKee was born Jan. 3, 1917, in Lauderdale County. She was a member of Round Island Baptist Church and a lifetime member of Good Sam Club.

Survivors include a son, Jerry McKee and wife Jane, Athens; grandchildren, Jereece Ann McKee, Nashville, Tenn., Mark McKee and wife Jana, Sparta, Tenn., Butch McKee and wife Tara, Baton Rouge, La., Sandee McKee Kranz and husband Mike, Elkmont; six great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are grandsons and great-grandsons.
