Linda Martin

— Linda Marie Martin, 61, of Athens passed away Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013, at home. 

Mrs. Martin was born Nov. 6, 1951, in Twist County, Ark., to James Milton Brown and Tilda Baker Brown. Mrs. Martin was a member of First Church.

The funeral for Mrs. Martin is at 1 p.m. Wednesday at First Church. Viewing hours are from noon until 1 p.m. Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery with Rick Craft officiating.

Visitation is from 6-9 tonight at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home.

Survivors include her husband, Dewayne E. “Ike” Martin; sons, Jerrell Wayne Martin and wife Stephanie and James David Martin and wife Nancy; daughter, Kimberly Farris and husband Corey; brothers, Wesley Brown, Jerry Brown, Larry Brown, Johnny Brown and Donald Brown; sisters, Joyce Pike, Faye Hutto, Martha Turner and Doris Cluxton; seven grandchildren; and several family and friends.

Pallbearers are Jerrell Martin, David Martin, Tony Brown, Allen Brown, Jason Brown and Zach Defoe.
