Kathleen Klein lived an extraordinary life of loving service to her fellow man, to her family, and most importantly to her God. In her many years as a registered nurse, she provided comfort to countless hurting souls, including wounded servicemen and the aged. She was a faithful wife who loved and honored her husband during all the many years they shared together. She cherished her children, and lavished them with love, care and wise counsel.
Kathleen was committed to honoring God with her life. She delighted in sharing God's word with others and encouraging her fellow Christians. She rejoiced to use her God-given voice to sing his praises. She possessed a meek and quiet spirit, but when she spoke, her words were filled with grace. Her laughter was contagious and her kindness was heartwarming. And yet, at her passing from this life, her hope for eternal life does not rest in the life she lived so well, her hopes rest in her faith in Jesus Christ, who loved Kathleen, and gave himself for her.
The pallbearers are Mike Bryant, Ronnie Brackeen, Grant Gilbert, Tim Johnson, Bill Murrell and Tim Richter. Honorary pallbearer is Constance Freeman.
The visitation will be from noon until 1:45 p.m. Saturday, July 27, with the funeral following at 2 p.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home. Entombment will be in Crestwood Cemetery in Gadsden.
The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Hospice of Limestone County or to Limestone Health Facility.
