The funeral for Marjorie Ann Tucker, 76, of Ardmore will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 21, at Spry Funeral Home with Jerry King and Ray Pettit officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Visitation is from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Tucker died Thursday, July 18, 2013.
Marjorie Tucker was born Sept. 23, 1936, in Nashville, Tenn. She was a homemaker and a member of First United Pentecostal Church in Athens.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bruce and Della Dye; husband, Junior Tucker; daughter, Deanda King; brothers, Wayne Dye and David Dye; and sister, Martha “Mot” Russell.
Survivors include daughter, Diana Butler of Athens; granddaughters, Shanda Butler of Athens and Holly King of Elkmont; great-granddaughters, Destiny Butler and Katy Butler; sons-in-law, Jerry King of Prospect, Tenn., and Jimmy Butler of Athens; sisters, Helen Shannon of Vinemont, Brenda Sue Satterfield of Nashville, Rhonda Davis of South Carolina, Brina Stinson and Rita Breedlove, both of Nashville; brothers, John Dye of Nashville, Fred Dye of Huntsville and Alton Dye of Arab; several nieces and nephews.
