Marshall Jackson

— The graveside service for Marshall Bruce “Mickey” Jackson, 68, of Limestone County will be at noon Thursday at Hester’s Chapel with Richard Durham officiating.

Mr. Jackson passed away Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012, at Vanderbilt Hospital.

Visitation is from 5-9 p.m. today at McConnell Funeral Home.

Marshall Jackson was born Dec. 20, 1943, in Limestone County to Heflin Jackson and Vivian Johnson Jackson. He graduated from West Limestone High School. He retired from the Chrysler Corporation after more than 30 years of dedicated service.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Waddell Jackson.

Survivors include three sons, Bruce Jackson and wife Kelly of Goodlettsville, Tenn., Adam Jackson and Jordan Jackson of Toney; one brother, Johnny Jackson and wife Ellaree of Lester; sister-in-law, Rebecca Jackson; two grandchildren, Erik and Heidi Jackson of Goodlettsville, Tenn.; seven nieces, Cathy Hayes, Gayle Johnson, Kay Jackson, Amy Jordan, Amanda Thomas, Faye Hill and Sandy Bass.
