Iretha Hargrave

Iretha Wooldridge Hargrave, 92, born May 26, 1921, died Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2013.

Her survivors are family with wonderful memories of a loving mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, great-grandmother, mother-in-law and sister-in-law, since she was all of this and more to all of us.

Survivors include family members Leslie “Buddy’ Wooldridge and wife Donna; son, Seth; daughter, Jeanne Hudson and husband Tim; sons, Joshua Hudson and Blake Hudson, granddaughters, Kayleigh and Stephanie Carter; and daughter Meghan Carter and husband Rick.

She was a longtime member of O’Neal Church of Christ, where she will also be remembered by her many dear friends and the lives she touched.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 50 years, William Opal Hargrove; parents, Allen and Lucy Wooldridge; brothers, Bobby Glenn Wooldridge and Allen Wooldridge Jr.; and sisters, Lucille Griffin and Bettie Raymond.

Her funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Matt Taylor and Guy McDaniel officiating. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Roselawn Cemetery, with friends and family as pallbearers and honorary pallbearers.
