Pauline Griffin

Pauline Boyett Griffin, 93, of Huntsville passed away Thursday, Sept. 26, 2013, at Huntsville Hospital. Mrs. Griffin was born Dec. 20, 1919, in Madison County to William Boyett and Eve Hone Boyett.

The funeral for Mrs. Griffin is at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home. Burial will be in Copeland Cemetery with Anthony Ford officiating.

Visitation is from 11 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.  

Survivors include her daughters, Janice Kennedy and husband Don and Nellie Floyd and husband John; sister, Arvie Burdett Cobble; grandchildren, Terry Kennedy, Jeff Kennedy, Diana Kennedy, Steve Griffin, Greg Griffin, Michael Floyd, Jimmy Floyd and Billy Floyd; 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Brasil Griffin; parents, William and Nellie Boyett; son, Lewis “Bud” Griffin; sisters, Lucy Marie Boyett, Nancy Burdett, Vissie Griffin; brothers, Jessee Boyett, Joseph Boyett and Paul Boyett.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
