William Stinnett

William Anthony Stinnett, 72, of Anderson passed away Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2013, at Huntsville Hospital. Mr. Stinnett was born Jan. 19, 1941, in Limestone County to Bayles Stinnett and Anna Corder Stinnett.

The funeral for Mr. Stinnett is at 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 12,  at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home. Burial will be in Sandlin Cemetery with Dan Binkley, Benjy Taylor and Ernest Campbell officiating.

Visitation is from 1-2:45 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.  

William Stinnett was a member of Carriger Church of Christ. He was a graduate of West Limestone High School Class of 1960. He also enjoyed restoring Allis Chalmers Tractors.

Survivors include his wife, Robbie Nell Stinnett; son, Mark Stinnett and wife Robin; daughter, Sandra Blankenship and husband Troy; grandchildren, Will Stinnett and wife Heidi, Olivia Blankenship, Anna Stinnett and Reed Blankenship; brothers, Mike Stinnett and wife Wanda; sisters, Jane Kenady and husband Glenn and Melissa Allaway and husband Joel; mother-in-law, Clara McConnell; brother-in-law, Joseph McConnell.

Pallbearers are Mark Stinnett, Will Stinnett, Troy Blankenship, Reed Blankenship, Jay Stinnett and Nick Allaway.  Honorary pallbearers are Olivia Blankenship, Anna Stinnett and Heidi Stinnett.
