— Mrs. Betty Jean Ball Hasting, 74, of Athens died Tuesday, March 11, 2014, at home. Services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Spry Funeral Home with David Cox and Jordan Lovell officiating. Burial is in Legg Cemetery.

Visitation is noon until time of the service Thursday at Spry.

Mrs. Hasting was born April 17, 1939, in Limestone County. She was a member of Market Street Church of Christ, a homemaker, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who loved her Lord and family.

Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Paul D. Hasting; daughters, Sherry Hasting, Jenny Easter and husband Randy, Cindy Griswold and husband Tim, all of Athens; son, Douglas Hasting of Athens; grandchildren, Christopher Easter, Justin Pratt, Tyler Varnagatas, Joel Easter, Anna Pratt, Sarah Easter, Laura Easter, Brandon Griswold and Grayson Hasting; four great- grandchildren; sisters, Elaine Taylor and Wanell Vellocido of Athens; brother, Dany Ball of Athens; several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be grandsons.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Limestone County.
