Nora Donham

Nora Marie Underwood Donham , 80, of Athens, died Friday, Sept. 6, 2013, in Winter Park, Fla. Mrs. Donham was born Sept. 14, 1932, in Limestone County to Granville Underwood and Tessie Andrews Underwood.

Services will be 11 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 12 at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Jackson T. Sprague and Jimmy Clark officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery.

Mrs. Donham was a member of Bethel Church of Christ. She was an avid Alabama Crimson Tide and Atlanta Braves fan.

She is survived by two sons, Tommy Sprague and wife, Karen, of Athens and Gary Sprague and wife, Julie, of Winter Park, Fla.; daughter, Deborah Wilcox and husband, Brian, of Lexington, S.C.; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Sarah Lasiuta of Warren, Mich., and Jean Griffing of Clinton Township, Mich.; and several nieces and nephews.

Grandsons will be pallbearers and Mark Hatfield and Jackson Sprague.
