Henry Reid Zehner

— Henry Reid Zehner passed from this life on Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2012, at 15 months of age. His life here was so very short, yet the joy he created and the love he shared with us in that time will sustain us for the rest of our lives.

He loved dancing and rocking, watching himself on video and clapping. He loved sharing toys and bones with his puppy dogs, Bogie and Stew. He loved bear hugs and wet kisses. He loved his oval puzzle piece and reading his books. He was kind and gentle and knew he was funny. He mastered the silent laugh and delightful squeals. He brought our family closer and showed us unconditional love. We are so blessed and proud to have held him in our arms.

Visitation with the family was held from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 24, 2012, at Klein Funeral Home Champion Forest. A funeral service was held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2012, at The Centrum, 6823 Cypresswood Drive, Spring, Texas 77379. Interment followed in Klein Memorial Park SH 249.

Henry Reid Zehner is survived by his parents, Matt and Anna Bradley Zehner of Houston; his grandparents, Steve and Marilyn Bradley of Athens and Paul and Debbie Zehner of Akron, Ohio; great-grandparent, Doris Hardy Reid of Athens; and aunts, uncles and cousins who loved him dearly.
